Our Dental Services
Your Way to the Perfect Smile
At the Atlanta Dental Center, we provide general dental care. We start with basic services that result in healthy teeth and gums. This leads to bright smiles. We also provide cosmetic dentistry services using advanced dental technology.
Since 1980, the Atlanta Dental Center has made it a focus of the practice to stay on the cutting edge of dental technology in order to provide exceptional and highly efficient service to our patients.
The services we provide include CEREC® 3D Technology for one-visit crowns and tooth restorations, Air Abrasion for drill-free fillings, comfortable injections using The Wand® and many more services—delivered with our patients’ comfort in mind.
Getting regular checkups and maintenance are the key to keeping your teeth healthy for a long time. Our doctors perform thorough checkups and can catch small issues before they become bigger and more expensive issues.
Our office provides natural-looking implants. We provide single- and multiple-tooth implant replacements, as well as full-mouth implant reconstructions.
Our highly trained doctors can restore your teeth in one visit with CEREC® technology. CEREC restorations are made from ceramic, a substance that is particularly compatible with the body. These restorations are custom crafted while you’re in the chair.
Invisalign is the virtually invisible system used to straighten teeth without braces, wires, metal or brackets. Instead, it uses a series of clear plastic aligners.
Veneers, made of porcelain or plastic, are placed over the front teeth to change their color or shape. Veneers are ideal for teeth that are too small, too big or have uneven surfaces. They can also be used to close gaps in teeth or to whiten them. We have been placing veneers since 1982 and have helped thousands of people improve their smiles.
Our staff helps our patients keep their teeth healthy throughout their lives. Our highly trained hygienists perform gentle, thorough cleanings and handle gum disease fully to help you preserve your teeth.
Atlanta Dental Center provides long-lasting tooth colored fillings. Replace your old silver amalgam fillings with mercury-free, non-toxic alternatives.
Most root canals can be completed in one visit with breakthrough CEREC 3D technology.
While conventional braces can take up to two years to straighten your teeth, Fastbraces® move the tooth, root and crown at the same time, thus reducing the amount of treatment time needed. A single treatment usually lasts between 3-12 months.
We provide comfortable, well-fitting dentures that are designed to look like natural teeth. We can stabilize your existing dentures with the use of Mini Dental Implants (MDIs).
The Atlanta Dental Center provides various tooth whitening techniques, such as dental bleaching using the Zoom! Whitening procedure and laser tooth whitening. We also offer in-home bleaching options.
Used to correct a “gummy smile” (where a significant portion of your gum is exposed when you smile), cosmetic gum surgery is the procedure of lengthening your teeth from the neck of the tooth upwards.
Dental bonding is a composite resin filling placed in the back and front teeth. Composite resin fillings are the solution for restoring decayed teeth, making cosmetic improvements, for changing the color of your teeth or the reshaping of teeth.
Sleep Apnea Treatment
Sleep apnea is a potentially serious disorder whereby people experience pauses in breathing for ten seconds or more during sleep. This often happens without their awareness and can occur many times per night, depriving people of both restful sleep and needed oxygen. Effects can include daytime tiredness, acid reflux, depression, memory loss, dementia, high blood pressure and more. Dr. Lang provides effective treatment for sleep apnea, improving both the overall health and quality of life of his patients. His advanced training in sleep apnea treatment at the University of North Carolina allows him to be able to create custom-fitted oral appliances. These mouthguard-like devices gently move and keep the patient’s lower jaw slightly forward to allow the airway to remain continuously open during sleep. The American Academy of Sleep Medicine recommends oral appliance therapy as a more comfortable alternative to the bulky masks and airflow tubes that have traditionally been used to treat sleep apnea.
How Do You Know If You Have Sleep Apnea?
Dr. Lang provides a WatchPAT, an FDA-approved portable sleep apnea diagnostic device that patients take home and wear overnight. Readings are taken and sent to a pulmonologist to determine if the patient has sleep apnea and, if they do, its severity. Dr. Lang’s use of the WatchPAT prevents his patients from having to undergo an overnight sleep study in a hospital for a diagnosis.
